Justinas Krasuckas

I'm an artist and lecturer from Lithuania. I love to paint nature and my art has been shown all over the country. When I paint, I try to show not just what something looks like, but also how it feels to be there.

I find ideas for my paintings in the nature around me — forests, swamps, and wild places.

Before, I mostly painted portraits of people. Now, I enjoy painting outside in nature. It gives me energy and helps me create bigger paintings later in my studio.

I studied art history and painting at universities in Lithuania and also learned classical art techniques in Florence Academy of Art, Italy. Today, I teach drawing at Vilnius Academy of Art and school for classical painting - Classical Realism Atelier.
